On February 3 Fundação Bunge and the architecture and urbanization company Indio da Costa presented the executive project for the new Gaspar borough to the major institutions involved in the work: The township's Secretariat of Planning and Department of the Environment, water-supply  and sewer utility SAMAE and TBG – Brazil-Bolivia gas mains company.

The urbanization project follows sustainable concepts and details the new borough that will receive a share of the families currently in a homeless or risk situation. The project defines the total area, the number of residential, commercial and community lots, drainage, sewer system, slow-speed traffic system, bicycle lanes and sidewalks made from reusable materials, among other issues.

The project will be officially delivered to City Hall by early March, when the city administration will also offer Fundação Bunge an official timetable for the start up of works.
