Archeologist Niéde Guidon and researcher Adalberto Luís Val have just joined Fundação Bunge's Administrative Board as peers of other great Brazilian names such as Celso Lafer, Carlos Nobre, Maria Bonomi and Adib Jatene.

The second area is related to the preservation of natural and archaeological heritage in southeast Piauí state, which has resulted in the the creation of the Sierra of Capivara (Capybara) National Park, of which she is a director.

Adalberto Luis Val is a researcher at INPA, the National Institute of Amazon Research. He studies breathing and adaptation of Amazon fish to changes in the environment, both those considered natural and those caused by humans. He has been active in the study of causes and consequences of the regional imbalances relating to educational, scientific and technological development. He is a member of various national and overseas societies and has organized 13 events for some of them, 9 of which overseas.
